      Whilst that is lovely.

What does Ireland have to show for these surplus’s?

Does it have a booming tourist sector?

Does it have a incredible transport network where people can get to different counties or even outreach towns to city’s/main towns in the counties?

As I say, surplus’s are good, but also outcomes of these surplus need to be looked at…

Does Ireland have a better train network than say France? Or even Estonia?

As we always say when Ireland and GDP are discussed… how does this compare to GNI?

Thats because they are being paid a fortune for all illegals for Brussels. Finally we making money even though we don’t see any of it!

    5. Most of Europe isn’t operating as a tax haven for US multinationals. And yet they have better public services than we have.

WTF are Greece and Portugal doing to get in the plus? Impressive.

What’s the point of even Having the surplus, surly we’d be better off if they actually spent the money on public transport, healthcare, education etc and even be in a deficit?

Considering our GDP isn’t as ‘normal’ as most countries i think this graph and it’s findings are pretty flawed.

Denmark is also the same situation with ozempic & nordisk fudging their numbers too

There should be some sort of ‘EuroVision Song Contest’ thing based around this…..

      “Romania – Nul points”
      “Poland – Une point”
      “France – Deux points”
      .
      .
      ……
      .
      .
      “Irelande – Onze points”

If mega economies like Germany and France are running at a deficit, it makes me wonder why we want to run at a surplus

How’s the national economy less the multinationals doing?

As I always say, also attach a graph that show availability of Public Transport and Health sector to this graphs.

Ireland is the prime example of “throwing money at things won’t solve the problems” situation.
