This is the actual moment that the tide is turning. Ukraine is gathering steam, Russia is losing theirs. Taking heavy losses just to maintain where they are.

Is this the same as the Easter ceasefire Russia announced and then never stuck to ?

Does Ukraine get to keep the russian territory they hold?

I would be more worried about Ukraines missiles, they have been a bombing campaign for a couple of weeks and those French AASM missiles are spectacular to watch them hammer a building holding ruzzians inside, like in this link

last I heard they have a new longer range Neptune missiles which are also land fired now, 2 others I can’t recall the name but 1 is 500km and the other has over 1,000km range and look like a storm shadow missile

How about walking that line back just a bit further, like, say, the Russian border? That seems like a good line from which to stop the invasion.

Noooo broooskys that’s just his way to get a peaceful sky for may 9th and after that it just goes on. How can anyone believe any of this especially so close to putins big big day. The day THEY!! the Russians (for sure only and foremost ethnic Russians) with no help whatsoever ( like landleases or stuff like that that safes the whole country ) beat the Germans all alone in one great patriotic war.

That explosion in Barsovo/Vladimir must gave sent shock waves all the way to Moscow.

Curious how they didnt seem to want this a month ago, or 3 days ago. It also happens right at the time when their army is barely taking ground at staggering losses. Also RIGHT AFTER they announced a ceasefire and completely ignored it.

Could there perhaps be hidden agendas behind freezing the conflict right when they stop making progress? Gotta get Sherlock Holmes on this one.

Russia can’t be trusted of course. But it is strange to see them switch from refusing any potential ceasefire to requesting one. I understand negotiating from a position of apparent strength, but what are they really looking for? 

Is this a bid for the US to recognize Crimea and then continue buisiness as usual after their victory day parade? 

Are they desperate for sanctions relief? 

Has Russia made a large miscalculation with the tide turning? They have entrenchments far back from the lines so unless something fundamental has changed, they don’t risk losing everything. Just the km’s they have been devastating while losing soldiers for. 

Russia always does this when they’re losing.

Rubio and Witkoff ditched this week’s meeting because they didn’t enjoy Ukraine/UK/France explaining the facts of the invasion to them and Trump has already decided what deal he is going to offer Russia.

I would so love to see the EU come together, kick Putin in the balls all the way back to Moscow. Then flip Trump the bird for being a worthless piece of shit. He won’t take his boss’ defeat well.
