AI can’t complete an assignment for you. Even if what it formulated makes sense, the information contained can be just blatantly wrong, with a simple fact check revealing just how wrong it is. Students in college have been caught out trying to get AI to write their assignments for them, but ended up having to write the assignments themselves due to chatgpt being wrong with the information it gave them.
AI is really just a glorified search engine and should only be used as such if you’re using it.

This from people who still teach pencil & paper drawing.
100% of the grade should come from exams. And 100% of the criteria for entry to university should be results of these exams . If specific exams like aptitude tests are required, that’s fine.
Continuous assessment and interviews etc are a recipe for disaster. Why are they fixing something that isn’t broke
I was thinking it’s been a little too long since Teachers threatened industrial action/went on strike. Good to see normal business has resumed.
