Il coltello ha una lunghezza della lama inferiore a 12 cm, richiede due mani per aprire e non ha un meccanismo di bloccaggio.
Da quello che ho capito, queste caratteristiche significano che non rientra nelle restrizioni di §42a della legge sulle armi tedesche. Tuttavia, sono consapevole che ci sono aree in cui il trasporto di un coltello potrebbe essere vietato.
Qualcuno può confermare se è legale portare questo coltello in pubblico a Berlino? Inoltre, ci sono luoghi o situazioni specifiche che dovrei evitare di trasportarlo?

Everything you said is correct. It’s legal to carry, except in those zones.
Within the three weapon free zones of berlin specified on the maps to be found here https://www.berlin.de/polizei/polizeimeldungen/fakten-hintergruende/artikel.1520041.php or more properly within the official ordinance here https://gesetze.berlin.de/bsbe/document/aiz-jlr-WaffFVerbotVBE2025rahmen%4020250215, which are also marked with signs, carrying pocket knifes is illegal. Otherwise pocket knifes are legal

You are right. It is generally legal and not considered a weapon. However there can be certain areas that are considered high risk (like train stations, busy party districts) and are declared as “Waffenverbotszone” where you cannot carry anything that remotely resembles a weapon, even small utility knifes.
