Dude, get your own life together first. You are leaking sensitive info like a damaged faucet.

This MAGA administration should literally be marginalized and ignored. The only way these idiots back down on anything is when their bluffs are called, wallets are targeted, and their constitutes turn against them. Look at Trump falter on trade when China didn’t back down on tariffs. Look at what happened with Musk when his Tesla baby took a massive dump. Take away the US’s military contracts. Stop buying their weapons and depending on their military industrial complex. Hit their pockets. They’re just as addicted to Europe as Europe was to them but only one side is calling the shots. Its time to call their bluff and watch this administration eat itself alive from its stupidity and quickly right its own ship in an attempt to save itself.

    3. SorbetExpert1704 on

Ok, Europe can no longer answer the US’s unreasonable cries for help in its wars.

    4. diamanthaende on

It’s not like we don’t know that, Pete. Thanks, but we are fully aware.

But ask yourself this: what CAN the US serve as today? Or put differently: what are the benefits of being allied with the US when even the security guarantees are not on offer anymore?

Have you actually thought things through I wonder? The implications this will have on America’s standing and influence not just in Europe, but around the world?

    5. opinionate_rooster on

Makes sense, since the US can no longer guarantee its own security.

    6. dorsomat on

I agree, let’s federalize europe and build own army…also agree with us on some plan how to achieve it, would be nice to make it gradually.
sad true is that nobody is willing to die , nit even soldiers who are basically paid for it. EU should build own modern robo army.
I know things are not that simple. Building modern army can kick back in manufacturing and mining industry, open new ways for research. this things can’t be done overnight and we eu should push for this rather sooner than later.

    7. hypercomms2001 on

But they will act as the guarantors for Russian security

    8. B89983ikei on

Most of the wars Europe took part in were all in the interests of the United States!! How funny!!

    9. Umbra_Draconis on

Yes, we know, we’ve heard already from all the idiots in that administration. Europeans like myself don’t give a fuck anymore about the shit you say.

    10. Former-Chain-4003 on

That’s fine Pete, you keep saying it yet you haven’t fucked off yet, kindly do that as soon as possible.

    11. Upset_Following9017 on

News flash: Europe has been doing amazingly well for the past 50+ years thanks to alliances, trade and collaboration. Sad to see the U.S. leave all that for no discernible reason other than somehow doing everything to strengthen Russia to build up a military threat to Europe.

    12. sebeteus on

Well we got nukes too, next time a muscovy mad-dog starts waving theirs around, we’ll give em a salvo.

    13. Beneficial-Movie83 on

Europe can no longer support American foreign policy.

    14. ColdNorthern72 on

Basically, the Non Proliferation treaty is dead. America has given up on deterring nations from developing nuclear weapons. It is now every nation for itself. The “Nuclear Umbrella” is gone.

    15. So did he just casyally terminate the North Atlantic treaty or what?

    16. It can, it just won’t. But I guess correct wording is too much to ask from Paloma Pete.

    17. Maybe if we bribe him with a couple of bottle of Scottish bourbon he will change his mind /S

    18. riiiiiich on

Just to add, remove your bases and US power projection is basically evaporated. Especially if Japan ends up doing likewise because they’re not too happy with you either. Bye now. Byeeeeee! Thanks for all the good stuff, but basically your films have been an endless stream of unambitious remakes and the music would’ve had more soul if it had been written by AI for the past decade or so.

    19. It’s so funny how the current administration doesn’t understand anything about soft power. As a European I am more than happy that Europeans finally waking up and becoming more independent. The leverage the US has over Europe is stupid and I really don’t understand why we never decoupled. We fought every stupid war the US has started along just for the promise of protection.

But what’s even more stupid is the US, letting their influence over one of the biggest world economies go! Not to mention all the military bases they lose in Europe. It’s a huge strategic loss for the US as a Super Power.

    20. One_Particular247 on

The sad part is that it doesn’t matter anymore. They have nucs, Russia has nucs, India has nucs, China has nucs, etc. it only takes one nuc to f*ck up the world. We all need to just get along and make peace. World monopolies are becoming so pointless.

    21. Hekke1969 on

They can just piss out of europe already – being lectured by a drunk wifebeater

    22. Responsible-Pain-620 on

I hope that the rest of the world sees what horrible malfunctioning morons the alt right has been for America and do everything in their power to stamp out the rising alt right groups in their respective countries.

    23. Tender_Flake on

Sol, if most of the world we care about moves away from the USA for defense, that means the USA can cut defense spending…right, RIGHT?

    24. vicegrip on

Well you wanted the job. Now you don’t want it. Tomorrow you’ll complain you were kicked out.

But right now my biggest issue is that when the Trump admin open it’s mouth about Europe I hear Putin speaking.

Sheesh, the rest of the world gets it. America doesn’t want to be the leader anymore. OK. China is reaching out for the job already. Not sure what you’re going to spend the trillion dollars on defense spending for.

America had a good thing going for itself but the idiots won the election.

    25. Appropriate-Tell-270 on

The US is a fabulous security guarantor only in time of peace, when really needed they disappear.

    26. SheikYerbouti007 on

US can no longer serve as guarantor of Europe’s security as we are pro Russian – Pentagon cheif Pete Hegseth

      Edited for accuracy.

    27. Commercial-Range9123 on

There is a lot of American hardware in Europe. When are they planning to move that to their side of the ocean? As their intentions have been made known, they serve no purpose.

Its occuping valuable space and I guess if moving is a burden then they can stay there and we rent the space to you. No problem.

Ukraine can be helped by the proceeds

    28. StayUpLatePlayGames on

By all means, empty your military bases and take your nukes home. That includes Greenland.

    29. Antique_Historian_74 on

      Cool.

Looks like Europe just acquired a whole bunch of new military bases.

    30. New_Teacher_4408 on

Makes sense, guess that means Europe is no longer a guarantor of American security.

Time to evacuate all early warning, listening and radar stations on European territory and over seas territories.

    31. lifeisahighway2023 on

What bullshit. America never was the “sole guarantor” of European Security. Hegs, go lie in the gutter filth where you belong.

America always portended to be a leader and partner of European Security and in the past quite forcefully (diplomatically within NATO) protected these positions as part of its global policy of diplomacy. But sole guarantor? Just another lie from the administration.

Trump seems to possess no understanding that as he retracts from the world he diminishes American influence and soft power greatly. China will gladly step into the leadership position in many 2nd and 3rd world countries.

As for our NATO and Pan Pacific allies – this is invigorating their local military industrial economies. Which for decades was forced to play second fiddle to American assets. Their shareholders thank Trump for this gift and in the longer run so will their countries. A great deal of innovation starts in military industry and trickles down to commercial and consumer applications. Trump is gifting you all everyday and he is too stupid to know it.

      So says mr. Security-minded Signalgate.

Europe’s security is, at least indirectly, OUR security, you STUPID MAGA sh!thead.
