More accurate would be that they only get to keep what they can capture and control – which might be all of it, if the US is a pussy like they have been in Ukraine under Trump.
Will Taiwan have any cards left to play with afterwards..?
“Only allowed to keep some of it, until we threaten Taiwan and then remove our support!”
Trump would phrase it like “If Taiwan invades China”
