This government really feels like a house of glass cards smeared in oil, my god.
At this point, every party that is connected to the government is losing support in the polls, sumar is trying hard to seem like they can change the government from the inside with things like this, but the public opinion on spanish left has already sentenced them as PSOE lackeys.
I’ve grown to enjoy it tho, seeing how long Sanchez can stay in power is turning into my favorite telenovela.

Spain is ramping up it’s defense spending and should spend that in EU. Israel is commiting a genocide, no need to fund that.
Good. But seriously I cannot understand the strength of the Israel lobby. Besides Jewish Zionists and Christian evangelicals in the US, what is even the constituency among populations that can’t even be bothered with what is on in their own countries. Boggles the mind the mental gymnastics involved to placate a country whose contributions to globalism are off the shelf spyware for authoritarian regimes to target journalists and civil society and SodaStream.

Why are Spaniards so anti Israel? This seems to be a long history, wondering if it’s related to the Arabs taking over this peninsula back in the day?
€ 6.6 million for 15.3 million rounds of 9mm Parabellum sounds expensive, certainly for such a bulk order.
And to top things all off Pedro Sanchez doesn’t even genuinely care about human rights.
Not the right of the people living in Gibtaltar to determine their own future.
Not the human rights of Palestinians when they are being abused by Hamas (which you’d expect him to care about given how frequently he criticises Israel).
He’s cozying up to China (despite the mass of atrocities it has and is committing).
He sides with Serbia when it comes to Kosovo.
