Its clear on few things. One, Putin is not that interested in peace. He offer no consession or any goodwill for it.

In his mind he think he got all cards on table so he figure he can wait it out. Weapon, Men, Money no problem just ask more from North Korea, Iran or China. Heck throw another oligarch out window.

Secondly Trump isn’t that interested in doing right thing. He just want conflict to end regardless of who. Unfortunately its Ukraine that Trump think easier to pressure to end it. So get Ukraine to give in whatever demand Putin ask then peace deal.

Oh, but he and over 140 million of his fellow Russians *are* interested in peace.

“Peace” for these utterly unlovable losers means social “stability” via Moscow-centric despotism but with ethnic Russians at the top of a caste system in which they’re “naturally” allowed to subjugate, enslave, exploit, and/or despoil non-Russians in perpetuity.

It’s the Russians’ fascistic and natively chauvinistic spin on [Pax Моngоliса](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pax_Mongolica) which had its heyday 700 years ago when their ancestors native to the swamps along the Moskva river chose **dishonor** by becoming the most loyal ~~collaborators~~ bootlickers of the Gоldеn Ноrdе.

‘Interesting’ to see US media paint the talks as ‘collapsed’ while the usually more neutral (be it boring) media in Europe, like Reuters’ noticed the unanimity between the allies. I guess the orc-paid yankee delegation didn’t like how things went?

I think the Ukrainian fighting spirit, skill and tenacity has shown that what Putin expects doesn’t fucking matter.
