Let’s move on from “alarmed” to “outraged”.
Doesn’t it also require Ukraine to give up land that Russia has not captured? Land that a million or so Ukrainians currently live on?

What a deal, what a deal, the best deal the world has ever seen! Not only Russia keeping what they annexed, but also Ukraine giving up all its natural resources and ports to Trump’s cronies, while giving up NATO aspirations. This is not a peace deal, this is capitulation.
Deal is give me minerals, give territories to Russia (all of the occupied ones) and Rusia gives nothing but a fake peace they will break after. Sounds great.

Ukraine decides about terms. Trumps terms are just Putins terms.

Trump at this point should be regarded as exactly the same as trying to deal with Putin.
So with that in mind the only way forwards is to totally ignore Trump and for the EU to enforce a total embargo on Ruzzia with nothing in or out until their economy collapses or they stop their war and withdraw totally from Ukraine.
Basically it’s time for Europe to stop fucking about, get real and actually deal with Putin in the only way he understands and that is forcefully and with conviction.
No, he won’t start World War three as he’s having enough trouble with Ukraine let alone an EU based NATO coalition using weapons that are current.
Putin will realise he has a stark choice, either withdraw from Ukraine and stop his war or perish along with the Ruzzian Federation.

Europe is unable to step over crippling fear of russia. For me they’ll never do enough even if russia come for Baltics or Balkans. Poland may be another Ukraine and fight on they own with help from allies but others like Czechia move forward to pro russian governments
