Ciao a tutti, mi trasferisco in Germania e sto prendendo la mia Toyota Corolla 1.4d del 2008, so che è un motore diesel e dalla parte più vecchia, ma ho intenzione di guidare oltre 20k all’anno e la storia del servizio è abbastanza buona, non otterrei un altro affidabile senza un grande investimento. La mia domanda principale è: avere questi problemi nella carrozzeria, non mi dà fastidio e non penso che influisca sulla sicurezza, ma ho letto che Hu è piuttosto severa, quindi pensi che questo sarà un problema durante l’ispezione? Inoltre, quando è necessaria l’UA?

I think you should be good as long as the mirror’s glass surface isn’t cracked.
Mirrors in general are relevant for vehicular safety, therefore relevant for HU. However, some minor damage to the mirrors casing doesn’t matter as long as the mirror itself is intact and as long as the positioning mechanism for the mirror still works.
Source: I had a car where I damaged the mirror when backing out of a parking spot (didn’t see the 1m thick concrete pillar next to my car). The mirror casing was cracked even worse that yours and I gut HU just fine. Had to replace the glass, though, since that was damaged as well. Mind you, this was almost 10 years ago so things might have changed in the meantime.
AU is done during HU.
The mirror isn’t an issue.
Mirror casing is a problem. Sharp-edged cracks are not allowed. But it’s enough to just put duct tape over it.
