      I hope Zelensky won’t accept such stupidity, Trump doesn’t deserve any win in these talks.

      These takes annoy me because war is actually exactly like that. Some state fights another state, and if they’re winning they can demand concessions, including land. ‘Burglar breaks in, in order to resolve it you have to give him the kitchen’ is indeed how a lot of history has gone.

      Whether the other party is ready to accept the demands rather than keep fighting is another question.

      Trump is clearly pro-Russia but nonetheless, there isn’t a world where Ukraine doesn’t lose territory at this point. It’s a question of how much (hopefully as little possible) and whether they’re given the power to defend themselves in the future.

      Just replace: Russia with Nato, Zelenski with Milosevic, Crimea with Kosovo, Trump with EU and it will all look ok to you.

      Had the U.S. not intervened, there would be no Ukraine… lifes not fair but the Ukrainians can’t defend themselves from Russia without international support.

      As much as most don’t like it, there are few other alternatives that don’t lead to a decades long conflict.
