This is the joint fund between Ukraine Frontline and Protect a Volunteer where everything we buy is 501c3 compliant but purchased in Ukraine to support the local economy. It’s also not military aid. Everything is hygiene, food, clothing, medical supplies, or home appliances. Some people have concerns about donating to military aid due to their home country’s laws; if that’s you, then this fund is for you!

It’s getting hot in Ukraine which means everyone needs gear for summer and that is generally not issued. Sun protection, mosquito protection, hydration packets, electrolyte powder, wet wipes and shower packs, foot powder, etc are essential to survive in the summer. Sunburns and skin rashes are easily preventable for a few dollars. Preventing those keeps good soldiers working instead of recovering.

Can soldiers afford this themselves? It’s not that expensive so yes most can. However there is the mental load issue of getting a bunch of different supplies from different stores when they have limited downtime and are in the field most days. They also often stay focused on their military gear and have limited bandwidth to remember the little stuff even if it’s essential.
