CIAO! Sono in vacanza in Lettonia vicino a Riga in questo momento. Io e il mio GF eravamo all’interno del Kemeru Park dove si trova il parcheggio. Era una tarda ora, non c’era nessun altro lì e abbiamo pensato che il parcheggio fosse gratuito … fino a quando non abbiamo ricevuto una multa del parcheggio per 25 €. Non è come se non volessi davvero pagarlo, ma vorrei arruciare per sapere quando qualcun altro era in questo tipo di situazione e se è legale/il "operatore" Ci contatterò per il parcheggio il biglietto se non lo paghiamo?

This is a company with the sole purpose to service parking, and yes, issue tickets. I think they would go bankrupt if they would not do anything about people not paying it.
Also yes, it is legal. If you park somewhere where the parking is paid, you enter into a contract, and you are liable to pay the penalty if you do not fulfill your end of the contract.
So depends on how far away from you are, these guys do chase you and try to collect debts, but they aren’t the actual police so there’s that, take it for what you will. I know that EuroPark has some recognition and power within the Baltic’s and can reach you, these guys .. if you’re willing to gamble, let us know how it works out.
