My job is part of one of those “strategic” (sic) EU fundings on silicon chips R&D, including private and public partners. The funding is more than one year late and there is no timescale yet, everything blocked by politics of my country.
We can’t compete with the world on R&D with such a system.
EU is wine, castle tourism and cheese, what semiconductors lol.
