How many Trans people are in currently playing in the FA?

    2. Taskebab on

Trans people can’t use the bathroom, they can’t participate in sports…all of this is designed to remove trans people from society. It’s truly revolting and those idiots are clapping like “yay this makes sports fair”…disgusting

Trans women are banned from playing POOL with other women, and ffs CHESS.
wake up, theyre trying to erase a minority because they scapegoated us too hard

Why would men compete in women’s sports and vice versa?

    5. grazie42 on

Much better that the sport associations themselves decide what is ”fair” in their sport than having politicians do it…

2025 and people are still falling for the culture war bullshit… We should ban dogs from playing football next time

TERFs are punching the air right now for stopping 20 amateur transgender women from playing footie with their mates.

Is it weird that I agree transpeople shouldn’t be at sports but I have nothing against them and support trans rights on the other hand? Am I a bad person for that? I just think you can make every choice you want in life, but some of them have consequences. I feel bad about it.

This thread is more of a mess than the /r/soccer one on the topic which is saying something

This is a good thing, fuck anyone who says otherwise

Trans people should have freedom and not receive hate – but I agree that biological males should never do real competitions against biological females, unless it’s a mixed gender sport. For the same reason that non-trans people can not do so against women. There’s a reason the divide was created in the first place – it’s not an even playing field in physical sports between men and women.

      It’s really that simple.

Definitely seem to be in the minority thinking here, but it’s good that the policy is stated and stops any future arguments about the policy.

So much uneducated and bad faith takes

It is not about numbers. If you want to exclude men from the women’s game, the FA must by law exclude women from the men’s game. If the FA doesn’t have this policy then both teams are mixed.
