These lads would do anything if it meant they could do nothing.

EVERYTHING is delayed these days, isn’t it?? The ban on flavoured vapes, the pension auto-enrolment, my free HRT, etc. etc.

Btw, does anyone think that being able to see the grams of alcohol and calories in a bottle of beer or wine is going to deter anyone from buying it?!

Even though it’s not required ive already seen some on bottles of wine. Surprised they aren’t bilingual

Everything’s delayed in the emerald isle! But a lot done more to do!

Safe to say most of us are happy with this delay.

They’d put a warning label on butter to say that it causes high blood pressure.

Seeing as they are delaying literally everything and can’t progress or resolve one single fucking issue.

How about we also dealt the implementation of carbon tax rises?

I think continued education of health issues connected to alcohol is fair enough, but this seems kinda meaningless and also will damage our beverage industry… Imagine being in the states and seeing all the Irish whiskey labelled as harmful with big warnings on the bottle, but Jim Beam and Highland Park aren’t…
I’d be more in favour of going after fast food and snacks, obesity and heart disease, diabetes, etc, are much more of a issue to people right now. You see a lot of old drinkers and smokers, obese people don’t really make it to old age and are a huge drain on the health service.

Fuck off, honestly just leave us alone to enjoy things. Everyone knows alcohol is bad for you. If you go into the **literally partitioned adults only** section of the shop to buy a few cans, the label won’t make you rethink your choices. In other European countries, there’s literally bottles of beer in the regular fridge next to the soft drinks, there’s no big hullabaloo about it, you just can’t purchase it unless you’re over 18, that’s it.
