Guten Tag People, ho trovato questa piccola bellezza al di fuori di Solingen, NRW. Qualcuno può identificare quale razza di serpente è? È stato davvero fantastico vedere un serpente per la prima volta in Germania!

Rule of thumb, if you see any snake in Germany it is with 99% Natrix natrix (grass snake/Ringelnatter).
Though in the south we do get a few similar Natrix species but all of them lack the distinct markings
As others said it’s a Ringlenatter, they pretty cool. We have one living at our garden pond, must be a bit over a meter long now.
