MPs in Turkey have legal immunity.

**Edit:** More context; the mother came to the area to see her 17-year old son, whom the police had earlier detained for attending May Day protests. When she arrived, they tried to detain her too, but Dr. Asu Kaya prevented them from doing so by locking her in a hug and proclaiming “I will not let her go, she will stay here”.
I feel truly sorry for the people of Turkey. Erdogan turned the nation into a dictatorship. The people protest but they get barely any attention on the mainstream news channels. Europe is silent. US is silent. Basically, it is being ignored.
This pic needs to be on the front page of national newspapers so people actually notice what‘s going on in Turkey.
