Well, preparing for war is something Russia has always done. Soviet did this as well. Hopefully they are not crazy enough to attack NATO, hopefully NATO holds under Trump and hopefully Europe rearms now asap as to deter any Russian shenanigans. After Ukraine its hard to say how much more the Russian economy can take.

    2. IndividualSkill3432 on

There is zero chance of Russia planning a war against Europe. They are struggling to make small gains against the second poorest country in Europe.

They may and perhaps are likely to get more aggressive with their hybrid warfare.

Attack? Russia? War with NATO? Nooo! Russia is not doing such things. Only self defense or helping it’s own people. Stop twisting facts!! /s

If they want to prepare for suicide Mission, we really can’t stop them from doing that.

But attacking NATO would bring end of russia and Putin knowns that. That’s why they want NATO to dissapear.

Aslong there is united NATO, united Europe, russia has no chance. He can try to bomb my apartment building, but that won’t bring them Victory.

F russia, F Putin. And i hope Americans will grew some balls and will get rid of their Pro Putin agents sooner or later.

Putin knows, it is NOW or NEVER, so he is going to start his aggression against the EU and NATO, while Trump sits on his thumbs and pretends to be ambivalent. Putin’t REAL goal here is to resurrect the old USSR, and it’s boundaries, and DESTROY the EU and NATO, as they are seen as the ENEMY to his pipe dream.

When they show signs of wanting to end the Ukraine war I’ll worry about another war 5 years later. Until then there’s no chance of one.

I do not think Putin cares about if he is actually able to achieve something, or not. I think he is the type of person that will try to achieve his view, regardless of the consequences. It seems Europe understands this now, I was pleasantly suprised to see my country buying Tomahawk missiles for its frigates and subs. Those are not used for home defense…

    8. If they were planning on attacking NATO, why would they make such a big deal about not allowing Ukraine to join? Hmm.

    9. hemijaimatematika1 on

Russian war with NATO would suggest that they answered the question of “How many Germans,French,Poles are willing to die to protect Baltic countries” with “not nearly enough”.

    10. Bicentennial_Douche on

Of course they are preparing for war. Hell, they had elite units that were specifically tasked at fighting best NATO units and win, and defending Moscow. Like 4th Guards Tank Division. Which was basically wiped out in battles around Izium.

He spend a million men and billions of rubbles to annex a small part of Ukraine… how is he going to attack nato or eu? Witch sticks and stones? A bit of threats with nukes? He knows that it is suicide if he even launched a tactical one

Classic fear bait articles. “China may be planning on blowing up the moon”

    13. TheDr34d on

This seems ridiculous. They can’t win in Ukraine, how can they hope to survive NATO?

    14. StealthCatUK on

It really doesn’t matter if NATO exists or not. Europe isn’t going to standby and watch Russian tanks role into Poland, Germany etc…Europe can and will stand together when the time comes.

    15. ClitoIlNero on

The war has already started for a while, what is to come is the battle against Russia and the defence of Taiwan

    16. Adventurous-Laugh791 on

let’s see how many retards will fall for my “argument”:

It was nato’s fault to expand eastwards, something Bush and Kennedy promised not to do but did nevertheless after 1990. With that being said attacking nato is perfectly justified, imagine someone promising you not to place 1000 tanks in italy when you live in france, will you attack italy if you see many italian tanks on tv? Of course you will.

What would happen if several tens of thousands of soldiers without insignia seized part of Lithuania along the Vilnius-Kaunas-Kaliningrad line? It might be Lithuanian self-defense forces taking control of cities to protect Russian-speaking minorities, but it certainly wouldn’t be Russian soldiers. Will NATO troops be prepared to bomb Belarus and Russia while they deny their invasion?

    18. FafaZagreus on

No mather how many signs. European leaders won’t do sht about it.

    19. throwawaypesto25 on

I also have 4 signs for you that it’s definitely the case

      1) it’s Russia
      2) it’s Russia
      3) it’s Russia
      4) and this might shock you, it’s Russia.

This is what they live and breathe for. Being unable to build civilisation beyond Moscow and Peter city center and instead feeding the remaining empire troglodytes with ideals of supremacy and conquest.

Always been that way, always will be that way.

    20. ziplock9000 on

It would have absolutely no chance… by a colossal margin

    21. voyagerdoge on

Just presume he is preparing for a war with Europe, probably as payback for Napoleon and the nazis. Or for whatever fantasy reason.

European countries will ensure a quick defeat without (or despite) the help of Russia’s friend the US.
