Drones (and robots) are completely changing modern warfare.
A few weeks back, I criticised a deal that Poland had made with the US about Apache attack helicopters, saying that those kind of weapons had proven to be rather ineffective in the Ukraine war. Predictably, I was heavily downvoted for it.
Today, Hartpunkt has an article on the “[transformation of the US Army](https://www.hartpunkt.de/pentagon-ordnet-transformation-der-u-s-army-an-weniger-kampfhubschrauber-mehr-kleine-drohnen/)” – apparently, the Pentagon wants the US Army to move away from attack helicopters and focus on drones – the Apache helicopter is namely mentioned as an “obsolete platform”…
Oh well. I do hope that most European militaries do learn the lessons of the Ukraine war, though.
After the war Ukraine will be a major weapons exporter. Everyone will want from these wicked drones.
