I believe that the recent announcement by Portugal to expel 18,000 foreigners ahead of the national election is a necessary step towards protecting our identity and sovereignty. Open societies have shown their flaws, leading to a loss of cultural integrity and security. It’s time to close our borders like in the good old days, ensuring that our nation remains strong and united. We must prioritize our citizens and their well-being above all else.
We have 2 million of immigrants, this is nothing but sand in peoples eyes.
The trend appears to be globalizing.
Those are rookie numbers.
Nationalism is one of the biggest problems on this planet currently short of maybe global warming
10 years ago the young portuguese were busy leaving Portugal .. So now what ?
This is literally just due process, these people have over stayed their visas and did not obtain a residence permit or didn’t renovate it, so they will be notified to leave the country and they will have 20 days to leave.
It has nothing to do with the far right populist or with the center right party aligning with them on immigrantion, it’s literally just following the immigration law and asking people that are illegally in the country to leave.
