Wow, I guess that changes warfare drastically!
Not an expert but guess that a lot of places in the Black Sea are not safe anymore
I remember the first observations of these types of drones washing ashore. No one could wrap their heads around what they were, what their function was or who made them.
A couple of years later, they sink battleships, launch other drones and shoots down fighter jets from the sky.
The evolution has been absolutely wild!
Future wars will be fought underground
The air and the sea will be so crowded with swarms of drones that everything dwelling on the surface will be exterminated in minutes
I wonder if we gona see some point submersible drones with missle armament?

Other than corruption and ego, I could never figure out why the US has put comparitively nothing into naval drones. Particularly with straightforward tasks like protecting sea lanes against piracy. You don’t need a flotilla of Arleigh-Burkes for that, and exposing hugely expensive assets for low-level threats is both senseless and a recipe for complacency.
