I hope they’ll across the EU. It’s the only party that gave me enough hopes for the long term that I read their 180 pages program a few years ago. Some has probably changed, but it was the most level headed program from any political party in Belgium. They seem to just want to apply common sense.

Now, as all political people and parties, I wonder how they’ll change with time and power (if they actually get any).

It will never work In Belgium I can tell you that much.
They only went for the federal and European elections and only in a handfull of provinces. No you need to first capture the local level.

I think he was a central figure of the digital improvement of Estonia and Greece here did some slow steps in that direction when he was appointed as an advisor of the minister special for the digital government some years ago.

It’s a good thing that Volt gets some boost and I wish their branch here had more popularity.

For anybody who was as confused as I was, there’s a the description from Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volt_Europa

      > Volt Europa (known mononymously as Volt) is a transnational pro-European and federalist European political movement. It operates as a pan-European umbrella for subsidiary parties sharing the same name and branding.

Volt tries to please everyone. It lacks the grit to have a realistic stances on specific points such as migration. It’s funny. They position themselves under this proto populistic facet, like the concept of one europe, but they are so incredibly bad at doing populism politics. I still root for them, though. I like the concept.
