      Idk how to feel about it tbh. The Armenian genocide is generally an issue we shouldn’t concern ourselves with. Armenians are already using it to justify their bullshit against us since 1918. So imo we should steer away from falsely associating ourselves with it.

      That being said, I would prefer them to recognize an actual attempted genocide of early 20th century instead since we have full blown unearthed mass graves and genocide memorial in Quba region. Khojaly was a massacre and the whole Karabakh was straight up ethnic cleansing. But for something to be labeled as genocide just like with Armenian genocide there must be testimonials and clear indication of attempt to literally erase certain group from face of earth. Implications of which DOES NOT exist in both cases, unlike Quba genocide site.

      I might be playing devil’s advocate here but is recognition by the Estonia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group is a national recognition?
