It’s not just suspicious, they admitted the data was incorrect but of course they claim it to be a mistake, not a lie:)

Other countries do this sort of thing. Britain took in millions of third world immigrants to boost GDP numbers but it probably lowered GDP per capita. Looks richer; actually poorer.

I know it’s a serious topic but I’m unreasonably bothered by the two graphs not using the same scaling along the y axis.
When i see such graph it’s not even “suspicious”… 🤡
