Who the fuck looks at Trumps USA and say to them selves “I’d sure like me some of that”?

I’d be quite happy for Romania and Hungary to leave the EU or be booted out. The bloc as a whole is trying to present itself as a stable and calm, united institution globally and these two just keep electing or threatening to elect those aligned elsewhere or who don’t want to be part of the team.
If your population is stupid enough to want to go back to being a Russian client then do it

gotta give credit to Russia
they raised and promoted 2 presidents for Romania.
The first candidate was taken out by the courts but Russians had another candidate waiting

Ah the regular Romanian betrayal of its allies. 1916, 1944, 1968, the list just grows.

Nicusor Dan (the pro-EU candidate) needs to handle the debates perfectly in order to have a chance at winning, which he unfortunately doesn’t. He said yesterday that the President should use his influence on justice, and while he meant that he can name some of the people, it really sounded like he wants to manipulate justice. That’s how you lose undecided voters. He’s a very smart guy but public speaking isn’t one of his assets.

We should’ve kept voting to keep Romania out of Schengen.

Is this another pro-russian, anti-EU, conspiracy theory president? I think I missed something…

When I lived in Norway and Trump won the first time, a facebook friend from Romania also living in Norway wrote a post in all-caps: “AMERICA IS BACK!”. I didn’t understand it at the time, but it makes sense now.

People don’t understand how much trouble Romania is in. I have seen god honest posts on social media that have Romanians turned on Moldovia and seriously thinking that if Russia attacked Moldovia that it’s non of Romanias business.
Anyone who knows Romania knows that the day the attitude of “what happens to Moldovia is non of our business” becomes normalized is the day Romania is truly lost.

Hungary, Slovakia, Romania. At this rate, the EU will have to be re-formed without these — and any other — Eastern European countries where the majority actually miss the good ol’ times with Russia so much.
