Perhaps I’m in the minority here but I really feel like this should be outside the EU’s remit. It’s meant to be an economic trading bloc, not a moral and social union too

If you want to criminalise hate speech, start with extreme, sadistic pornography. I can’t think of anything that fits the definition of “hate speech” against a group of people (women) more than that.
