Its how dumb the market can be, we don´t know if any was actualy shot down, if it was, we don´t have any clue if it was the plane, if it was the pilot, if it was the tactics, we don´t know anything!!
All i know is that, for so much claims and trash talk between both countries, i haven´t see any proper crash site nor any pilots that has ejected or his body, wich is weird, if you have a piece you normaly have most of the plane, but a piece of metal is all what has been shared online by both sides to prove ther claims, and thats not enough

If true, It could provide Dassault with real-world data on weaknesses their jets may have. At this point, we don’t know whether the fault lies with the pilots or the aircraft.

    3. Dumb. A Rafale being shot down alone doesn’t indicate the quality of the airplane.

      FYI,

The all time high (ATH) of Dassault Aviation share price is 332 Euros, and the current price is 325 Euros. So it’s not exactly a crash in stock price.

      332 —> 325

The all time high (ATH) of CAC (the Chinese maker of the Pakistan fighter jets) share price is 48 CNY, and the current price is 23 CNY. CAC has only gained a bit from its lows.

      48 —> 23

Western military myths can only be realized in the Middle East and Africa.

These advanced Western fighters can certainly kill those shepherds wearing slippers and holding AK47s.

But when the opponent also has advanced fighters and air defense systems, the myth is immediately exposed.
There is no need to laugh at the Rafale and the French. Because advanced fighters including the F22 and F35 have never been verified.

I’m sure a news source known for its failure in meeting accepted journalism ethics and standards is a great source for clickbait titles! /s

The 1-day stock price is UP .94% btw.

Rafale sales about to plummet. Best gift to Lockheed Martin salesmen.

Turkish propaganda for their allies in Pakistan.

It’s war. Shit happens. I bet Dassault engineers are more excited about getting their hands on real-world combat performance data of their planes.

Read some reports it was an air to air kill by a J-10. Wild if true. J-10 costs so much less.

Rafale is not a bad jet fighter, but that heavily depends on which enemy it is facing. If you were talking about some third-world African countries or terrorists in valleys, then yes, Rafale is very potent.

But PAF deploys a full set of Chinese-made air defense system. That system is at least two generations behind what China uses, but still, it is workable. IAF has not prepared for that; basically, Rafale in IAF receives minimum intelligence and awareness support. You simply won’t think Rafale can cooperate well with Russian-made A-50 AEW&C platform; but PAF can seamlessly receive information relayed from PLAAF’s AEW&C and ground radar.

Why do I mention PLAAF? Because I strongly suspect they are there, hovering their AEW&C over Tibetan Plateau and the Himalayas, monitoring the airspace of whole Kashmir, and relaying all necessary information to PAF. Either Saab 2000 Erieye or ZJK-03 that PAF has does not have such abilities; they are all outdated platforms from 2011, there’s no way these old AEW&C can do this.

I wonder how they’re responding to the f-16 that was shot down. This is more utter sillyness from the press. Fighter Jets are very vulnerable targets, especially if your don’t have good SEAD.

What did investors believe? That these jets are invincible?

War machine gets destroyed in war? More news at 11.

    14. Telemetry in these fighter jets in probably o the same level as on Android or Windows 11

Non-stealth fighters are obsolete no matter how good they seem on paper. The rafale is not good enough for modern warfare between peer states.

Europe needs a true 5+generation stealth fighter.
