And other 1/2 by USA. How is it justified to sell ANY offensive weapons to Israel? Western countries have obligations to DEFEND Israel… but we definitely have no reasons to support genocide perpetrated by Israel Government.

He’s totally on spot. Majority of people not going to read beyond the headline so I’ll add, he’s not talking about EU supplying Izrael with bombs, but rather blaming EU of not doing anything about systemic destruction of Gaza and Palestinian lifes, which is essentially handing power to dictators like Putin and Netanyahu to do whatever they want.

      >”The EU is not doing what it can,” he said.

      >Borrell also delivered a warning to Europe’s younger generations, urging them to push forward with “financial and military integration as soon as possible,” or risk seeing European civilization collapse in a world shaped by “chaos masters like Trump” and “despots like Putin.”

I would like to see that statement in video/audio, because this can be interpreted as either

‘Half of bombs falling on Gaza supplied by **us**’ or ‘Half of bombs falling on Gaza supplied by **US**’

When i look at wiki, everything is either US or Israeli equipment, some small amount is from UK (which is not EU anyway)

      >The Israeli bombing campaign has used mostly American-made bombs. From October until July, the US has transferred more than 27.000 bombs to Israel. Although there was a pause of one shipment of [MK-84](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_84_bomb) 2,000 pound bombs, no significant change in the supply of the bombs happened since October.

Try to talk about israel with germans and you’ll understand the reason. germans are just f*cking brainwashed, as if their brain was replaced by a piece of brick when this topic comes out. You cannot get them saying the fact that netanyahu is a war criminal, or ANYTHING bad about them, even if they openly commit genocide. They are just biologically incapable of doing this.

It’s actually pretty frightening to witness this is real life, and explains so much about their retarded fanaticism.

I’ve been warning about the dangers of rearmament to no avail. Half today, two-thirds tomorrow. There’s an ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu and an ongoing ICJ genocide case. There’s less and less plausibility feigning ignorance. With each passing day the EU becomes increasingly complicit.

      > Europe is witnessing ‘biggest ethnic cleansing operation since World War II,’ says Josep Borrell

Idk, the Uighurs in China might have something to say about that. Not that anyone’s done anything about that either.

      > Former EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell on Friday sharply criticized the EU for failing to act over Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, stating that “half of the bombs falling on Gaza are supplied by us.”

That just isn’t true, not least because European countries just don’t have the arms industries to make that many bombs even if we wanted to. Israel have their own domestic industry, and the bulk of their foreign imports come from the US, not Europe. Germany does quite a bit, the UK and France even smaller amounts, and that’s it.

The legacy Germany carries from WW2 is holding us all back from doing what’s right in regards to Palestine.

    8. Good. Export as much as needed weapons to destroy Hamas and ensure October 7 never happens again

Europe needs to be a voice of the sanity in the world, just as we spoke and act against Russian agression, we need to act against genocide in Gaza. The most crucial thing for the world to understand is common point between Gaza and Ukraine, our survival depends on that.

There are still hostages held in Gaza (both dead and alive) and until recently, Hamas still shot rockets at Israel, while at the ceasefire, Hamas tried to do mock ceremonies , including mocking the Bibas family and even sent an unnamed Gazan woman instead of the mother of the Bibas children.
Has he done anything about the hostages, about the terrorism, about the tunnels underneath Gaza, or his whole contribution is to pander to Ignorant fools , moralising from a distance, unconcerned about reality?

The EU doesn’t even have the capacity to make half the bombs Israel uses. If it did, the war in Ukraine would be over by now.

Germany selling diesel engines to Israel isn’t bombs, and we shouldn’t have this kind of Trumpian politicians who lie that they are.
