      Merz has been unexpectedly good for now imo(regarding foreign policy). We should double down and act more aggressively. Eastern Europe is not Russias backyard and we need to finally address their hybrid warfare against us

      Well done Merz and co, as already said the other day. Of course Russia was never going to agree to a ceasefire, but now there is the perfect excuse not just to add more sanctions, but deliver more – and especially more advanced – weapons to Ukraine.

      Plus, Zelenskyy now looks like the reasonable and compromising guy in the eyes of Trump and his MAGA orcs again, while Putin is the ‘warmonger’ (that he always was).

      But when Germany gives them clear instructions to accept a ceasefire or there will be repercussions, it’s suddenly unacceptable.
