La posizione della Finlandia sulla frontiera della NATO rende questi cosiddetti “colloqui di pace” in Russia-Ukraine in Turchia sono particolarmente significativi-e sospettosi.
Putin ha una lunga storia nell’uso della diplomazia come tattica di ritardo. In questo momento, la Russia offre colloqui “senza presupposti” … mentre lancia ancora scioperi nelle città ucraine. Sembra meno una genuina diplomazia e più come la guerra psicologica – e i finlandesi conoscono questo gioco meglio della maggior parte.
Ho scritto un articolo in stile investigativo che rompe tutto questo: come la Russia usa l’illusione della pace per dividere l’Occidente, congelare i fronti e inquadrare l’Ucraina come ostacolo. Vale la pena leggere se stai cercando di vedere cosa c’è veramente dietro il vertice di Istanbul. Amo il feedback!

Easiest way to detect whether Russians are lying when they are speaking is to check whether their lips move. They will break every promise and deal they make, and all those who negotiate with them should remember that.
IT’s pretty clear how these “peace talks” will go. Western powers will ask for two sides to agree to ceasefire. Russia will demand unconditional surrender as a precondition to ceasefire. Ukraine will say no. Russia will claim it wants peace, but Ukraine refuses to “acknowledge their security concerns” and that “Western diplomats sabotaged the talks”.
If Russia actually wants peace, they could just stop shooting and bombing. Instead they demand that European countries stop the weapon and ammo delivery to Ukraine as a condition to peace talks.
They say that Ukraine would just use the peace talks to reorganize and resupply its military. As if they wouldn’t do that!
So, the other age old truth. If Russia accuses other country of something, they are already doing it themselves and just want to turn the spotlight away from them.
