Monaghan Circuit Court last week heard that McGinn was travelling at speeds of up to 151 km/h on the night of the fatal collision.
Evidence was also given that he had ignored the pleas of his passengers to slow down before he crashed along the N54 at LegnaKelly, near Clones
A ridiculously low jail sentence once again. The banning of driving for 15 years may thankfully never seen him drive again
151km is an absolutely obscene speed to be doing on a national road. He deserves every second of that jail term and more.
I hope this is some sort of justice for the girls’ parents, even it’ll never be enough.

If you want to kill a person in Ireland use a car as your weapon. You are never really punished.
