Just to be clear that this time we want Germany to build a massive army and march through Poland to fight Russia…..
All the soldiers and weapons mean nothing if you don’t have the balls to use them. The Taurus situation is a good example. The simple question is – Will Germany attack and bomb the shit out of Russia if they attack NATO? I doubt it.
The biggest issue is finding willing soldiers not so much the necessary money.
We have spent the last 80 years to radically demilitarize our society to a point where the vast, vast majority of able bodies have no interest whatsoever in joining the military.
If you hear of someone even considering joining, most reactions will be on a scale from “what is wrong with them?” to “what a waste of time and effort!”
Shit… A strong French army, a strong Polish army, a strong German army, etc…. It stinks… It is great as long as there is a common enemy. But what after? These armies need to be as integrated as possible

And we did not safe anything by dismantling it.
