Ciao a tutti, sono qui per condividere questa petizione che non vede l’ora di vietare le terapie di conversione che riguardano la comunità LGBTQI+, anche se il canale non è troppo grande per un cambiamento, hanno bisogno di più supporto possibile. Hanno bisogno di 1 milione di firme per l’approvazione della proposta e sono già a 630.000, se solo tu potessi contribuire ad esso significherebbe molto e ancora di più se la condividessi 🙂

I don’t agree with religious conversion therapies and it is illegal in our country already. However, in my opinion making it criminal is over the top especially if it undermines the freedom of expression and it involves two consenting adults. We already have the Matthew Grech case which in my view is such a waste of court resources. I mean why target religious conversion therapies only, and not include child indoctrination at duttrina which is also brainwashing vulnerable individuals in society? It’s a slippery slope with all this cancel culture. The solution is not criminalizing and pushing these practices underground but educating people. These religious people will not correct their behavior just because you impose a fine or issue a suspended sentence, if anything they will feel more proud as martyrs for their religion.
