I like the concept, but I think you should have Ö’s in Linköping and Malmö and probably also use the swedish Göteborg. Especially since there are Å’s Ä’s and Ö’s in the street names.

Maybe it’s me, but I fail to see how this is “typographic” Jay because the street names appear multiple times. To me it’s a normal map, where the street name appears multiple times. Maybe helpful or aesthetic to some, but I don’t see how the letters shape the streets – take the letters away and the lines that form the streets are still there?
