They’ve had that article written and ready for a few weeks now I’d say.
She did grand.
As granny would say, at least she didn’t make a show of us.

Wasnt a great song. Ireland’s Eurovision entries need to be taken out of the hands of Boomer Central through the late late show. There should be a stand alone TV show that’s put in the hands of the younger generation if Ireland is to compete again. But I think RTE are happy to underinvest in Eurovision, more money for Tubridy’s flip flops and mega salaries for their top brass.

was rooting for her it’s just something not right with the audio / robotic sound and static stage didn’t worked for me.

Fairplay to her for boycotting the final.

Should have boycotted in the first place.

Who knew that sending a song that was rejected to even be in the Norwegian national final would fail to qualify for the Eurovision final

Ireland’s performance wasn’t great but I’m absolutely shocked that Lithuania got in ahead of Australia.
EDIT:
I re-watched Ireland’s performance, they added some backing vocals that just sounded off. The Late Late performance incorporated the dance into the song, but they didn’t seem to do this for tonight. I feel bad for the two back up dancers that got sacked for this.

Was a tragically mid act to send. You’d think they were on to something after sending Bambi last year but nope, that must have been a fluke

I don’t mind.

She seems lovely and full of heart, but absolutely nothing about that song was even remotely representative of Ireland. There’s one man in charge of selection and his tenure has long been redundant

Send Cruachan or something different next year for fuck’s sake. Different is interesting.
This was as dull as a summer’s day.

I for one am fucking shocked that a terrible song about a Russian dog sang by a Norwegian didn’t get us into the final. Who could have seen that coming?

Yet Armenia who used pre recorded vocals most of the performance which by the way looked like an ad for a male body spray and had ten songwriters and still somehow managed to rhyme survivor with alive-or qualified over it

We all knew it wouldn’t get to the final. Jesus the standard in comparison was stark. We looked like a poorly produced cabaret act.

Ireland not qualifying is not important.
Australia not qualifying is a travesty.
