I had the same one! (well, in Romanian)

Randomly found it in my parents’ library, a few weeks ago.

Is this the The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union? I vaguely remember trying to use Article 50 to get out of a punishment in school.

      >No one shall be liable to be tried or punished again in criminal proceedings for an offence for which he or she has already been finally acquitted or convicted within the Union in accordance with the law.

I brought in the little book to show the teacher and they just laughed in my face. Thanks for the memory, OP 😂

    3. Now I’m trying to figure out what mystery country’s outline is behind that Finnish text on the cover. Ruritania? Zubrowka? Borginia?

This is a Tardis book. The content (rights) are bigger than the outside (book).

“Book”. English really should have diminutives, since ‘bookie-wookie’ doesn’t cut it.

Are all books in the EU that small? In Australia, ours are at least 3x as big.

This has serious “world’s smallest violin” energy.

    9. I’ve got five of them, in five different languages. But I don’t know where they are…
