      If you remember that 50km convoy that supposedly was en route to surround Kyiv, after over 3 years of fighting and there’s still Ukrainian Flags on one side of a table standing strong – you have to reflect on how hard they’ve fought and defied the impossible.

      If these talks go nowhere then I would call them a success. The purpose is to show the world that russia does not want peace.

      It’s not underway… Putin refused to show up to his own negotiations and sent low level no-names with 0 say. They are just repeating the same game and conditions as 3 years ago.
      Putin cannot have peace and even if he could (like in 2022) he does not want it.

      This is a play to give Trump a way to back away from escalating consequences set out by EU (and supposedly backed by US) for Russia not engaging with peacetalks.
      Let’s hope EU follows through with their threats.
