      Predictable. Ruzzia propably just repeated their insane demands that Ukraine give up more territory and demilitarizes while being prohibited from ever joining NATO. The only purpose of this circus is to show Trump that Putin doesnt want any peace unless it grants him total dominion over Ukraine.

      I expected for nothing to come from this, it’s just the cycle of big announcement of peace talks, then the peace talks fail, then repeat.

      This is all just a waste of everyone’s time.

      Russia does not want peace. It wants land and resources, and will do what ever it thinks to take it.

      Russia: We want all we have taken and 50% more land as a buffer zone. You get peace for now while we consolidate our hold on the new territory.

      Ukraine: Get Fucked.

      Russia has made demands which are unrealistic and go far beyond anything previously discussed, a Ukrainian diplomatic source says.

      The source said some of Russia’s demands included the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from its territory for a ceasefire to be implemented.

      There were other “non-starters”, the source says.

      Delegations for Russia and Ukraine have been meeting in Istanbul today for peace talks.

      I wonder if “far beyond anything ever discussed” is hyperbole. Simply because my imagination doesn’t stretch what could be even more ridiculous above what ruskies have already demanded.

      Imagine being part of the ukrainian delegation having to listen to russian demands. Strong people that can listen to genocidal people in person and not flip the fuck out.
