So the Ukrainian’s got 1000 POW’s back and mordor got 1000 more problems for Ukraine and an a pause on the sanctions?
Brilliant… Who’d they send to speak on behalf of Ukraine? tRump?

I don’t think anyone expected much, but 1000 Ukrainians held in terrible conditions by Russia get to go home to their families. So i’d take that as a win for these talks in Istanbul.

“If the exchange goes ahead, it would be the biggest prisoner swap in more than three years since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.”

I’m blown away; they actually accomplished something, I really thought the orcs would make their normal impossible demands and stomp out.
Kudos to the Ukrainian team for salvaging something that is far better for Ukraine (IMO) than ruZZia.

Good news for a change.
Now what about the Ukrainian children kidnapped.

For the russians this is punishment and for Ukrainians an escape from horrible conditions and torture they were subjugated to. I’d call it a win.
