      £1 per customer.

      That’s a cost of doing business – and it’s not like the business has to pay, the customers will, as usual.

      All these people need long prison sentences, any ‘fines’ are just paid by the ‘customers’ i.e. people who use water.

      If a party stood on bringing the water companies to justice, they’d probably win. Fine the bastards out of existence. Shareholders deserve to lose everything if they haven’t sold already.

      When water is run for profit, the consumers, their health, are always going to be second to margins for magnates. 

      Labour need to step up and start taking back control of critical infrastructure. 

    5. Anglian Water made a profit of £133.2m before tax last year. This is literally just a drop in the ocean to them… or rather a drop in the sewerage filled river.

      Nationalise. The. Fuckers.

      Everyone in that region should look forward to their bills increasing in order to pay this £1.42m fine.
