The main points stated by the delegation during the talks. Firstly Medinsky said Russia fought Sweden for 21 years, so they’re ready to fight the war forever. He also stated that unless Ukraine withdraws from Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, they will demand Sumy and Kharkiv too, and that the Ukrainian delegation will lose more family members.

I would qualify my statement to say ‘the Russian government’ but I won’t because it seems like the bulk of the Russian masses approve of their government’s war or lack the courage to oppose the regime in any way. They are complicit.
Why is the West, America and the EU, so fucking weak and cowardly? The Russians should have been brought to their knees by now, if the West had given Ukraine what it needed from the start and on time. WW2 would have been enough of a lesson of what happens when fascism is appeased or not met with sufficient force.

You cannot ‘negotiate’ with them, only scare them. Then they will respect you (in their backward way). The Baltics, Finland and Poland have known this for a long time.
1) Cut them off from all business in Europe. Stop buying their hydrocarbons.
2) Any time there is an incursion into NATO airspace, ramp up NATO forces in the area.
3) Give Ukraine what she needs to defend herself. Russia is using Iranian, Chinese and NK (at least) resources. Laugh at them when they whinge about it.
