Volevo adottare un gatto attraverso il sito web di Uusilemmiki, poi ho trovato un venditore che vende un gattino ma lei vive in Austria e lei spedirà il gattino in Finlandia e devo pagare in anticipo il costo di spedizione (280 euro)

      Austrian here 😀
But anyways, if you live in Finland, adopt a cat from Finland. Depending where you live, but there are cat cafes and you can adopt cats from there as well, or at animal shelters. Also pretty sure that you will find a cat around Finland. Why would you want to import a cat from Austria? It’s expensive and it could be a scam. I would not do it, if I would be you.

Sounds like a scam, never mind why are you getting a kitten from Austria? There are plenty of places in Finland that just give away kittend

      FULL STOP.

      > adopt a cat through uusilemmiki website

That site is really new and poorly translated, and it’s not something people really use. So many scam ads there.

      > she lives in Austria and she will ship the kitten in finland

What the hell? If you’re looking to adopt a cat, there are zero reasons to get it from Austria. Also, you should see the animal before making any decisions. You cannot know if the kitten even exist – most likely not. Why would legit person want to put the kitten through all the stress and hassle to sell it to Finland?

      And that “logistics” website

      > From Europe to Asutralia

Full of typos, no actual information about the company, new website… 100% scam.

So you are getting scammed. There is no cat, they only want your money. Just block the person and move on to more reliable ways of actually adopting a cat.

If you want to **adopt**, there is ton of reputable Finnish animal shelters. If you want to **shop**, there is ton of Finnish breeders too – make sure the cat is registered and you have the pedigree. But don’t buy any animals without seeing the animal, it’s parents and living conditions!
