Personally, I liked our song, but the staging of it was utter shite. Was a fair bang of Dustin the Turkey on the production side anyway.

Most other entries were moving and dancing, and your one was just standing there for the whole song.

The Eurovision has turned into a joke shop! Absolute shite! Can’t believe it takes up 3 nights on national television!

    3. Ive said it once, I’ll say it again.

Our Eurovision success was built on the back of the troubles.

At the end of the day, this means Irish phones/cards being used to vote. I don’t see any reason to believe it wasn’t Irish people doing the voting.

Edit: if you disagree I’d like to hear why.

Between jury and public points only Azerbaijan and France gave more points to Israel than we did.

If you voted for Israel I sincerely hope you find MICA on your newly purchased home, and I hope the insurance doesn’t protect you.

Our song was shite if I’m being honest.

Compared to the wonderful Austrian song, it’s hard to compete.

Bambie thug had much better production that captured people’s attention a lot more.

Can we always change the shitty late late show structure? 6 acts to choose from isn’t great. Would love to know how other nations pick acts.

Honestly wonder if this is to do with Ireland boycotting more than the rest of Europe, basically distilling what few Israel supporters there are here from the general population.

If all the people boycotting on anti genocide grounds don’t vote and all the people who don’t care and support Israel vote for them then yeah it’s not reflective of public opinion.

I wouldn’t be so quick to jump to the conclusion that it was entirely cheated.

Think about it – a lot of people who support Palestine are intentionally not watching or voting in Eurovision. Meanwhile, people who support Israel are far more likely than usual to both watch AND vote (up to the 20x), even if they’ve never watched it before.

Plus very, very heavily pushed campaigning.

People be acting like doing well in the Eurovision gives Israel more bombs lol. Yeah I’m sure they’re spending precious resources rigging a song contest.
