I’m not personally invested in the fishing issues that are bandied about every time there are EU negotiations. I will however say that if Starmer folds on the basis of saving his image, that’s very weak.

Fishing is tiny as an industry, and frankly, cutting regulations for the remaining fishing businesses to export to the EU, would be worth any access to UK waters.

The UK makes 12 billion from arms sales vs 1 billion in fish sales according to a quick google search.
