Genuinely, article doesn’t seem to say.
It’s not a fix, it’s a result of boycotting and pro-Israeli voters. When a large portion of voters boycott, the pro-Israel side has a larger percentage of voters. And pro-Israeli voters are only voting for Israel; everyone else is split between multiple countries
What they need to check are the origin credit card numbers used for each vote. Then they will find the truth..
They should also take a very close look at the professional jury who gave Israel 7 points. Scumbags
Allowing an individual 20 votes if they want to pay for it clearly opens it to abuse. It’s not inconceivable that a few thousand motivated individuals paid 20 quid each to vote for Israel 20 times each. Then you’ve got 60k votes for a single entry. And from the article Spain had 140k votes in total for the final. It’s not hard to top the poll.
If they want fairness just stop putting it up for sale.
I’m pretty sure a Spanish broadcaster requested the same information as well.
