Finally, people are starting to wake up and realize what the Israeli government is doing in Gaza.

Other European countries, especially Germany, should get their heads out of Israel’s ass, too. You can’t keep ignoring what’s happening over there forever. If you don’t see what Israel is doing, you’re either blind, naive, or simply OK with all of it.

    2. Individual sanctions are good, but not enough to deal with extremists. These people aren’t going to give up their twisted ideology anyway.

      Changes in policy are needed.

That’s why EU will never become a superpower. They have lived for too long in USA’s shadow. It only talks but is never ahead of US when it comes to taking the right action.

However If EU grows balls and supports human rights everywhere, it’ll be a force to beat as it has a population better educated and a market bigger than both US and China. It does mean letting go of any old neocolonial hangovers and building bridges in Africa and Asia.

And of course then you have Germany sick man of Europe both economically and socially(like there is more opposition to the genocide in Israel itself than Germany).

Sanction the State of Israel. You showed you could take action after Russia invaded Ukraine. Do the same when another State is carrying out genocide.

The sanctions should be against the whole state, we did not sanction Putin, we sanctioned Russia, but it’s better than nothing

Sanctions are needed against Israel as a country.
If they say they are a democracy, Israeli citizens are responsible for those who have put in place that government.

Maybe EU should be pressing hamas to release all the hostages.

Anything the EU can do on the top level as well as individual countries is worth it

Why does there need to be more than a year of human rights violations for people in power to even consider changing their stance on Israel?
