Good!! A bonus is usually given when you do your job correctly, not when you fuck up. Pumping sewage into rivers is not doing your job correctly
They realise it looks bad when you’re about to ask for higher bills and a bailout.
They’ve paused the scheme because they were caught.
What a nice scheme it was as well, if you are a Director.
“The company’s “retention scheme” was set to amount to 50% of senior bosses’ pay packets, which could have led to them getting £1m on top of their annual salaries and regular bonuses.”
As with all of these grifts they’ve only stopped it because it’s bad PR and not because it’s the right thing to do.
