Now the old one is to be closed and hopefully fully pedestrianised. A nasty campaign to keep it open has been on going around here. God forbid someone will have to add a whole 2 minutes to their drive.
Local talk is that it was delayed the last few weeks due to a funeral the Minister had to attend putting off the original date.
The old bridge being pedestrianised will really enhance the public realm here
Hopefully it’s made permanent after the trial! 🤞🏻
