I’m not an expert on these issues, but ain’t an air-to-air nuclear missile a bit of an overkill ?
I mean, do you really need a nuke to take down another aircraft ? What would it be that aircraft, an alien mothership or what…?

What’s that thing supposed to be used on? Surely it is too short range and too overkill for any “large slow” air target? Even for ground targets the range sounds low. Or is “straight up” included in that range, as something to destroy ballistic missiles or mess with LEO?
